Year 5

ENGLISH ACTIVITIES IN YEAR 5

This school year, the fifth graders have been working a lot while doing lots of different activities. Here you can see some examples:

-        -We have invented a play in English. From the plot to the final show. After rehearsing a lot, we finally acted out six different plays. Good job!

-       -One of the most interesting projects we studied on Science was about “Global warming” and the Arctic. We began with a weather forecast and continued analyzing the changes that our planed has recently had. It made a big impact on us and we started a school campaign to help protecting the planet. Have a look at some of our posters!

-        We also had a visit from an English school and we made lots of friends. Sometime later, we received some letters from them and, after that, we answered them back. We can’t wait to visit them next year!

Year 4

ENGLISH ACTIVITIES IN YEAR 4

This school year the 4th graders have been learning lots of English while enjoying with many fun activities!

Here you have some examples of what we did:

-We went to the theatre to watch an English play. We even had to help the actors and actresses to have a happy ending!

-        -  We also did the Cambridge Exams. We were a bit nervous, but we did it really well!

-We invented a whole play! We decided the plot, wrote the script, rehearsed and act it out. You can’t imagine how much you learned and how funny it was.

 -We have written our own magazine! With lots of different sections such as News, Sports, Animal facts, Funny world, Games & crosswords, comics... Do you want to read some of it?

Apart from all this, we have also learnt many things with a Science project about Australia, a very special country. Besides, Sarah and Hanna, our conversation assistances, have played many games with us, in order to put into practice what we learn in class. Finally, we participated on a Photo Contest.
