Today, year 5 and year 6 have enjoyed from the play " Frankenstein".
They have practised the parts of the body singing and laughing from Dr. Frankenstein and his assistant Fritz.
They have had a great time!

Learning having fun is always a great pleasure !

Congratulations to all those students that last June did the Cambridge exams: Starters ( year 4 ), Movers ( year 5 ) and Flyers ( year 5 )
The results have been really good and most of them have got 4 or 5 shields for each part.
Great effort!

SPELLING BEE
5th & 6th Graders

Yesterday, 3rd June, we had a great afternoon celebrating the 3rd edition of our Spelling Bee contest.
Our students prove their skills spelling words, guessing words and 
understanding definitions.
And of course we could enjoy from different dances ( hip-hop, country ) ; a nice interview with Mr. Gaudí and Mr. Güell , and a role-play: " Going shopping".
Congratulations to all of them.

SHAKESPEARE´S PROJECT - 1ST AND 2ND GRADERS

SHAKESPEARE´S PROJECT

1ST AND 2ND GRADERS

Last month of April the students of 1st and 2nd did a project on Shakespeare.

Due to the 400th anniversary of his death they learned a lot of facts about this genius of the British literature.

 

They studied where he was born and when, some of his masterpieces and the fact that he together with his company built a theatre The Globe.

Nadjm, the teacher of music, drew a great portrait of Shakespeare. He is another artist.

They also did a compare and contrast : Shakespeare and Cervantes. Both of them died the same year and we are celebrating the 400th anniversary of their deaths.

They also studied Shakespeare´s Philosophy and some of them perfomed it in the Jocs Florals theatre play Romeo i Julieta.
